UK citizens suggested getting advice for finances
With the credit crunch still creating problems for the people, they are now being suggested that they should take their financial problems seriously and seek professional help for getting out of problems.
It was a surprising revelation from a research that was conducted by Zurich. The results say that around 57 percent of the UK adults have never consulted a financial professional and sought any guidance. It seems that it is the younger people mostly who chose to make their decisions on their own and do not seek any financial help from a professional. Around 80 percent of the adults between 18-24 years of age chose this to be their way. This number decreases as we along the increasing age as around 50% of people who are over 35 years of age have not visited a professional for their money matters.
The research by Zurich also stated that those people who are running their families should not delay going to a financial professional if they want to keep out of any financial pressures mounting on them. Amongst the married or cohabiting UK citizens who have children, around 48 percent say that they have never sought professional financial advice. This is really shocking as these are the people who need the advice and guidance the most so that they can plan their future and their family’s future too. Out of the single Britons, around 70 percent claim to have to never gone to a professional to seek guidance for money matters.
Out of those living in Britain, 50 percent people say that they do not think they have a disposable enough income that they need to go to a financial specialist to seek advice. In North Scotland, this number increases to 69 percent.
It is possible that by seeking advice for their monetary issues, the people may be able to manage all other needs and commitments which they right now find difficult to deal with. Also, they can consider taking up financial products like personal loans, home insurance policy or a savings account.
“With an increasing number of people opting out of taking guidance, we can say that the people have most risk to fall into problems with their finances. This causes an alarm for the future. The people have not bothered to go and seek any financial help when this should be their priority and this is most disturbing”, says Tony Solomon, director of life marketing at Zurich.
He added that this is the time when the financial advisors can put their skills to a test and solve the bad situations people are stuck in. this is the time that people need financial help the most due to the worsening financial situation around the globe. In spite of this, around 71% people are still not considering this opportunity that is available to them. Seeking financial help is indeed the right decision if one wants to curtail the problems that might occur in the future and help them keep afloat in the times of this credit crunch.
Those people who want to supplement their income with some extra source of money for their financial commitments can consider taking up a low rate personal loan deal. With the borrowed money, the people will be able to fulfill their targets whatever they might be. This step is no harm when the borrowers want funds to deal with their prior financial commitments.
