According to a new research, a significant number of Britons are planning to spend less time and money in the grocery aisles and not going to vanish from a supermarket.
In a study carried out by the Co-operative Bank, it was revealed that the continuous downturn in the financial market is putting people under pressure. They are planning to spend to the limit as per their pocket.
It was indicated that people have decided that they spend less money when shopping for food, with the typical visit to a supermarket now set to a cost of 68 pounds and 33 pence. Such a figure shows a drop from the average expenditure of 89 pounds and 88 pence which was marked in the year 2007. Furthermore, it was stated that some 755 pounds and 56 pence less is being spent over the course of a year at the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and other retailers.
However, people have to start maintaining balance in income and expenditure. The debt consolidation loans would be an appropriate choice to merge various debts into a single loan. Meanwhile, 38 per cent of respondents reported that their families have noticed the reduction in their weekly shop.
